Manuel Alorda started Kettal in 1966, and since then, we have been designing and producing outdoor furniture. The predominant material source for this furniture range is aluminium. However, it's also a combination of creativity and skilled engineering to create innovative furniture with specific aesthetics while delivering durability and functionality. 

In 1994, Kettal began to work with recognised product designers like Oscar Tusquets. In recent years, the in-house team of designers known as Kettal Studio has started to collaborate with well-known designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Jasper Morrison, Hella Jongerius, Ronan, and Erwan Bouroullec, Doshi Levien, and Rodolfo Dordoni.

Kettal's raison d'être is a range of timeless, expressive, and functional furniture representing contemporary culture while providing solutions to the emerging modern life needs. It is a blend of creativity, innovation, customisation, and current production. Kettal designs and manufactures custom products specifically to meet the requirements of each project.
